A husband in my household keeps asking me 'why are you still buying books' as I own 500 and work in a library. Not sure he believes I'm not purchasing ;)

Robert Bryndza's DI Erika Foster series has been on my 'to read' list for ages. Today I managed to pick up 5 of the 6 books currently in the series on my library's freebie shelf.

I listened to Avocado on audio narrated by the author and really liked it :)

I've been trying to avoid Netgalley Brenda, since going a bit overboard this year. But I just had to request this one - it sounds like a real tear jerker!

I went to my former place of work to do a bit of book exchange with a former colleague who has the same reading tastes when another colleague pressed a book into my hands, a signed copy of Rough Cut: Diamonds to Die For by local author, Peter Gray, because she knows I review and widely share my thoughts on books I read.
I will have to get the clever GR librarians to sort out the author profile, though, there are heaps of books there he didn't write.
