SOLVED. Mystery about a man who deals in porcelain and a ghost child [s]

I loaned this book from the library about 10 years ago and I can't remember neither the author nor the title. I think it was published in the 90's or early 00's.

It was a mystery set in present day Britain. The protagonist who deals in porcelain marries this woman whom he meets in the Netherlands (I think). Strange things happen including haunting of a ghost child. At the end it is revealed that the woman has murdered her child just before marrying the protagonist.
