How to Play


The Leprechauns have a special event in store for you, and you get the chance to figure out what it is ahead of time! In the graphic above is a phrase about the event. You'll have an opportunity to guess letters and the phrase for Leprechaun Coins!

The Rules
Round One 3/2 - 3/5
☘ You may guess a letter ONCE a day
☘ When making a guess, post "My letter guess for the day is _"
☘ At least once a day, one guess will be chosen by random draw
☘ If that letter fits the puzzle, anyone who guessed that particular letter, prior to the random draw, gets 1 Leprechaun Coin. The poster who was picked by the random draw will receive 2 Leprechaun Coins. 1 or 2 coins is total, no matter how many times the letter appears in the puzzle. (See example below.)
☘ If the letter chosen by random draw isn't in the puzzle, then watch out! There may be some Leprechaun hijinks!


Round Two 3/6 - 3/9
☘ Starting Round 2, you may continue to guess a letter a day OR try to guess the phrase for more Coins.
☘ Letter guesses will continue as in Round 1. If you choose to guess the phrase you may send a private message to Leprechaun Karsyn.
☘ The first correct guess will net the guesser 8 coins. Will accept the first 5 correct guesses. Coins received in order of correct guesses and will be 8, 6, 4, 3 & 3.
☘ If the guess is incorrect, you cannot guess again next day, though you may guess a letter. You can guess again on the third day. (See example below.)
☘ If the phrase is guessed 5 times, it will then be revealed and the game will be over.... but then you'll know what you are looking forward to!


Round Three ? - ?
☘ No more phrase guesses will be accepted after a certain number of letters are guessed. I'm not going to say when that will be, as it'll give a clue to the phrase. It will be announced in the thread, and on the 1st post when Round Three has begun.
☘ No more coins will be given out in Round Three, as if we get to that point, the phrase will become obvious. :)

Amanda guesses X / Kelly guesses Y / Karen guesses Z
Karsyn guesses Y / Renee guesses Y / Sonia guesses X / Tea guesses Z
Random draw chooses Karen, and Z is in the puzzle. Karen gets 2 coins, Tea gets 1 coin.

Round Two Example
Amanda guesses "The Monkey sits in the Apple Tree" on Mon
Kelly guesses "The donkey eats in the forts door" on Tues
Karen guesses "The horses ride on the right side" on Mon
None of the guesses are correct. Amanda & Karen can make a phrase guess again on Wed. Kelly can make a phrase guess again on Thurs. Amanda & Karen can make a letter guess on Tues, Kelly can make a letter guess on Wed.
On Wed Kelly, Karen and Amanda all PM the correct phrase. Kelly's message arrived first, so she receives 8 pts, Karen 6 and Amanda 4.

Yup, sorry ladies. Random draw(s) will be done pretty randomly, but next guesses can't come until the next day. We don't want this to end TOO quickly!! :)
