Happy girl, at last I can start. I started early this morning as I got a full day@s work today and I wanted to go to work a smiling girl.

20% up to end chap 4 (view spoiler)[I was a bit doubtful about Richard's reasons for staying away from David but I've come to see his point very well. Inequality in a relationship does not a good relationship make. We as women are more than aware of this. So I totally see his point now and admire his resolve whilst at the same time wish that they can resolve this and get together.

I wonder why KJ keeps hinting at David's dissatisfaction - as if he is going to blow soon. (hide spoiler)]

Hope I can get in more today but it's a full day's work ahead.

I got up extra early to read some more as it's another full day today and I can only touch it again tonight. I'm at 50% (view spoiler)[Richard seems to be falling all over his feet all the time. I think his foundation of how he has been built, what he thinks. I'm glad that David thinks himself his equal in that he is ready to serve him with pride but not to be look down on. Ok their position is not an equal one but they are equal as men. (hide spoiler)]

Yes I do think he will hurt David Maya. I think with him it is a matter of how he thinks, how he is. So he needs to go over all that to see why/how he is being hurtful and change if he wants to.

Up to chapter 7, what an eye-opening chapter 6 was!! Poor, poor Richard, so noble and honourable but afraid of the consequences of falling in love with someone beneath his 'station'. Damn them all to hell I say Richard!! :D

(view spoiler)[ I think that considering it's 1820 Richard is very open-minded to the whole valet-master relationship. He does not see David as "less" he just knows how society sees David, and his issues with David being a valet and his obligation to agree to Richards every whim.
I can't really fault Richard, he is amazing.
They will have to get to an understanding that they CAN be equal in their relationship despite being "unequal" in the eyes of society! (hide spoiler)]
