Sarah Waters, author of Affinity--3/4/16--a gothic story of a book, with the main character visiting and falling in love with a medium suspected of murder in an 1870's British prison.
Hanff Korelitz, Jean, author of You Should Have Known--3/11/16--interesting novel about a marriage therapist whose own marriage goes predictably awry, but unpredictable about her husband and his problems. Should make for an interesting discussion.
Anita Shreve, author of Stella Bain--3/11/16--entertaining short book about lady ambulance driver in WWII France, who suffers shell shock, losing her memory for several months.
Matilde--main character in Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff--3/4/16--2nd half of the book is told from her point of view, much more enjoyable than the 1st half! Actually looking forward to reading it a second time rather than listening to it because it is beautifully written.
Rainbow Rowell, author of Eleanor & Park--3/19/16--although it's been a long time since I've been a teenager, I enjoyed listening, especially the family parts--it seemed all too realistic.
Oregon Trail: A New American Journey by Rinker Buck--3/8/16--my husband and I listened to this book and finished only because I'm reading it for 2 different book clubs! It was ruined in the second half with gratuitous profanity. Interview with the author and his brother at the end almost made listening to 450 pages worthwhile!
Chance, Harriet, the main character in This Is Your Life, Harriet Chance! by Jonathan Evison--3/16/16--great book about a 78 year old widow who takes a look back on her life through a narrator/emcee conducting "This is Your Life" happenings, like the old TV show.
Kitchen House>/b> by Kathleen Grissom--3/14/16--second time I've read it, and while it's an entertaining story, there doesn't seem to be much depth to it. Can't quite put my finger on what it's missing.

Marti,
The ones that are bold already and have dates are already finished! I'm doing pretty well this month!
I typed in my whole plan in advanced too, though, because otherwise I'd forget!

Oh no! I just noticed. Connie , please reread the rules for this challenge. The G or the R will not count. The titles must start with the first letter of the title, excluding a, an, or the. :(
Correction: the "R" counts Connie. It's the MC character's name

Wouldn't the R count because it's one of the main character's initials?
