How's everyone going with our monthly read? Started/finished - enjoyed? Or not?

I am not really a fan of cosy mystery but I quite enjoyed this one. It had a real Agatha Christie feel about it and it was a very easy read. I really liked the setting too.

It's a good series Phrynne - I have #3 waiting to read:) Glad you enjoyed this one!

Carolyn | 1390 comments This was a fun cosy mystery to read. I liked the setting of the outdated resort on a tropical Island and the inclusion of some current topical issues. I'd be happy to read another one in the series next time I'm looking for a quick cosy crime :)

Yes I will keep this author in mind for the next time I need a cosy mystery. I basically only read then for challenges though. They are not my genre of choice:)

Carolyn | 1390 comments I find they're good for a quick light read when you don't want to read something too demanding. Sometimes when I've been doing a lot of heavy duty reading at work I'll read a cosy mystery at night.

As with any genre the good ones are good and the bad ones bad. So when I want to read one I look for recommendations from all of you!
