Sorry, I DNF the book.I just realised how much I hated it.
Yes, I liked some parts if it: The Crime solving, Kit, Ty, Dru, Tavvy,Mark, Christina and Diego.
But for most if the time I just want to set things on fire.
Did Emma and Jukes actually get shit done? Seriously the book could be 300 pages shorter if only they would stop drooling over each ithe. Jules eyes were the colour of blablabla...... And it goes on for pages.😮💨

No problem I totally understand, when I physically read it years ago I felt the same this time I am doing the Audiobook through Libby at 2x speed because here and there I can remember the main plot. But I want to get to the Last Hours never read it before the Wicked Powers comes out so I just put on the Audio and go about my work. Hahahahahaha.

Audiobook is the way to go......and determination. Hahahahahaha

The Wildhunt.....I don't know if I can explain it right but it is a group of horse riders that reap the dead in battlefields. They are in a lot of stories and every story twist them in what they want them to be.......hahahahaha.

Thank you, I read all of the mortal instruments books a looooong time ago so can feel the memory but cannot piece it together for the life of me. I remember being obsessed with Cassandra Clare but I don't know whether it is this book specifically but it just isn't as good as I remember

I love the original series this one is second (but it is a bit long and a lot of unnecessary info) and then the Infernal Devices but I do know a lot of people liked the Infernal Devices best, I just struggle with books in that time period that is way I have not read The Last Hours but want to before Wicked powers comes out in 2026.

Mark and Kieran....my heart goes out to both of them. Emma made me think a lot of Clary very single minded in the sense that she wants to know who killed her parents and consequences be damned.
