because i don't think y'all understand WHY we have a pride month. it's the same reason why we have a black history month, a woman's history month, an autism acceptance month

cis and straight ppl are accepted by default by society, lgbtq+ ppl aren't

just because same gender marriage has been legalized, doesn't mean homophobia and transphobia doesn't exist anymore, it still does, ppl get beaten just for being themselves.
