here is one of the reasons why aphobes are annoying:so i use the term "aspec" for both the ace/aro specs and i've had two ppl come to me on twitter telling me to stop using it for ace/aro specs because "it's used for the autism spectrum" even i, myself am an autistic ace, and i've literally NEVER seen aspec being used for the autism spectrum. i've looked it up, i've seen nothing about aspec being used for autism spectrum, i've even asked a fb group i'm in (for autistic ppl, asexuals, and allies) and they said it's just an exclusionist lie.
