on tumblr someone dmed me asking what nonbinary means because i had it on my profile, and she said some of these terms are new to her and i explained it to her and she said "thank you for explaining and then she asked me how i choose what to wear if i'm neither male or female and i told her that i can wear anything i want because gender expression isn't the same as gender

and she was actually sweet about it? like she didn't say anything bigoted or anything

i mean i myself grew up not knowing trans and nonbinary and other lgbtq+ ppl existed because i never knew much about them and no one talked about them much until 2 years ago when some ppl online talked about them and i became open towards it and i was mind-blown

but lgbtq+ ppl have existed for a long time now, nonbinary ppl have existed for a long time. it's just there weren't any terms for them yet

also there are a lot of bigots and lgbtq+ phobic ppl out there so it can be really scary to come out because it's dangerous

especially because ppl get killed for being lgbtq+

but seeing ppl that don't know much about nonbinary ppl and are willing to learn more about it and are open minded and aren't bigoted about it? that's what we need in this world.

i just changed the questions in my profile to "do you support the lgbtq+ community? what's your fav bands/artists? what's your fav book?"

okay but i love sebastian danzig so freaking much. like i have so much respect for him and so much love for him. i know he's done some things and ppl say he's a bad person but he actually is a sweetheart and he really IS a good person. i can see it, i can see that he is a good person. yeah he's done some bad things but doesn't mean he is a bad person, he's a good person who's owned up and grown from his actions he is constantly looking out after his fans and he considers us his family. the way he raised his brothers as if they were his own sons, the way he stepped up and became the father figure to his brothers. and he is like the brother figure or the father figure to the royal council as well

ppl see him as this big asshole but in reality he has a big kind heart on the inside. and he cares for his fans. he is a caring and kind and sweet person

also i myself have major trust issues i've been hurt a lot in the past

but we've all done some bad things we are only humans. we all have flaws no one is perfect. just because someone is in the public eye doesn't mean they are perfect, they aren't it's funny the minute someone makes a mistake, ppl automatically cancel him, even tho he has apologized and grown from his mistakes

i've been a fan of this band since november 2017 and yeah i've gotten scared to continue supporting them during the past drama cause ppl were telling ppl to kill themselves just for supporting this band, i still supported them but just kept it to myself, but then the royal council helped me and now i'm not afraid to continue supporting them anymore. i love this band. i love ALL the members and they all mean a lot to me. idc what anyone says i'm not gonna stop.

there are bands/artists/ppl who never even own up or grow from their past actions. they never apologized, but yet ppl still want to focus on sebastian's past actions even tho he HAS own up and grown from them. ppl constantly accuse him of being transphobic even tho he isn't and i know he isn't, just because of a past mistake which he's grown from it. he supports the lgbtq+ community, i know because i have friends that are trans that has met him and has amazing experiences with him. and i am planning on coming out to them. i love this band so much
