I thought I was straight I was an ally tho, before I found out I was panromantic asexual

but I found out about that I was asexual a week before I found out I was also panromantic

my story:

I found out I was asexual last year, but tbh I've always felt this way I just didn't know the name for it yet. I've never been interested into sex and I never had any sexual desires, I'm interested in romance but not sexual things. I've had crushes before, but they were not big crushes and I didn't know why I had crushes on them. I learned about sex in health class in 10th grade and I just didn't feel interested in it. I thought it was gross. yes I have a dirty mind, you can be asexual and still have a dirty mind, but that doesn't mean I'm interested in sex. I've read smuts before, and I just got repulsed. and then last year before I found out I was asexual, I thought about it a few times and I was in love with Jon, but it terrifies me. I get sex-repulsed. And I know in society, sex is expected to happen eventually in relationships. but I wasn't sure if I would be ready for it. And I didn't feel interested in it. And I don't think I will ever be ready for it because I'm asexual. And I lack sexual attraction and desires towards anybody. And then before I found out I was asexual I read a fanfic (I don't remember the name of it) but it talked about an asexual character and it said the definition for asexual, and it just clicked and I just started questioning for a week and then I found out I was asexual.

tbh I feel like sex isn't really needed in the relationships. like there are some ppl that do like sex and that's fine, but I don't think you HAVE to have it. it's up to you tho.

asexuals CAN date they CAN fall in love. they can have ROMANTIC feelings. They just lack sexual attractions

now some asexuals like sex, and they're okay with it, but they are some asexuals that don't like sex and they're just not interested

and asexuals ARE apart of the LGBTQ+ community and they ARE real and valid

asexual is a spectrum

Asexuality: lacks sexual attraction towards anyone

Graysexual: very rarely experiences sexual attraction towards anyone

Demisexual: only experiences sexual attraction towards someone they have a special bond with
