She really does but it's a good thing she does whatever she wants, or there wouldn't be a story. The main character's thoughtlessness is what's pushing the plot. lol

I have such mixed feelings about Jace and Clary at this point. Did you want to continue? I'm not sure which order you're reading them in if you are continuing. Some people do it by series and some by Clare's suggested reading order. There's a BR for Infernal Devices soon or I can read City of Fallen Angels with you if you want to go on.

Im glad I started early cause Im still only at 40%! lol

I will be continuing after this one, just not totally sure when I can get to it.
I reread all of the infernal devices earlier this year. This is the last book of the Mortal Instruments that I read when they came out- but I wanted to read them all before reading the Dark Artifices and the Last Hours -which I have not read before.
This one will probably take me a few days more at least and then I will probably jump back into Shatter me before I get to book 4. Probably in January? I am also held to my library holds so it can be hard to predict sometimes!

44% Chapter 11
As a reread not remembering most details I think this once is the best so far of the first 3 books. (view spoiler)[The city is on fire and overrrun with demons, Alec is finally going to get on with Magnus lol, and were also about to find out I think that Seb is actually evil. Though CC was pretty heavy on the hints there. I recalled that detail pretty early I think even with my first read being like 10 years ago lol. (hide spoiler)]

This is the last of this series that is a reread for me! It was definitely better than I remember, the strongest of the series so far I think. Interested to see where it goes and how I feel about the other books lol.

I think it was meant to be a trilogy maybe, but then they added more to her contract or something, because that would have actually wrapped up so nicely. But it continues with the fourth book so their story isn't over.
