Let us know what else you've been reading and what you think about those books? Why did you choose that book? Did it keep you engaged, or did it take some effort to push through?

I'm in the middle of a whole mess of books. I'm going to focus on finishing The Latest Mrs. Furst by Susan Martins Miller , and the group and buddy reads for this month. I'm looking forward to reading The Girlfriend (Single Wide Female in Love, Book 2) by Lillianna Blake and The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2) by Rachel Caine , but we'll see how this month goes.

It's an easy read, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I just finished the Vampire Academy series. I loved it and I want my own Russian guardian ;). I really enjoyed the way Richelle Mead tied things together. Sometimes the story was predictable and other times my shoulders were up to my ears trying to figure it out. I loved the characters, and I thought she did a great job creating them. I'm glad it's done, except she left a lot of open ended questions FOR ANOTHER SERIES AAAAAHHH! My brain needs a chance to rest from all the craziness, so I'm going to dive into Harry Potter. Happy reading!

I just finished the The Lunar Chronicles Boxed Set by Marissa Meyer and it was fantastic. I think Marissa Meyer did such a great job tying fairy tales into science fiction. I loved] the characters, I love the world Meyer created, and I love how she accurately used original parts of fairy tales and incorporated them so well into a completely different world. There were times when I felt like there was something missing, and then the author would include the information or add the details I needed to answer my questions, or make the story more complete. Although it's young adult, it didn't have that juvenile feel to it. If you loved The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset (The Hunger Games, #1-3) by Suzanne Collins , or The Twilight Collection (Twilight, #1-3) by Stephenie Meyer , then you would enjoy this series too.
