Michelle Lowe (michellelowe7gmailcom) | 15 comments Hello everyone! My name is Michelle Lowe and in need of some reviews for my science fiction/ thriller, Atlantic Pyramid. Here is a brief description about the book as well as the first chapter. If you're interested, please feel free to email me at michellelowe7@gmail.com or message me right here, whichever suits you best. I will supply you with a free PDF copy. Unfortunately due to problems from scammers in the past I cannot gift a copy. Thanks!

The flight started out as usual for flight instructor, Heath Sharp, and his student, Gavin Cole, until a sudden storm forces them to crash into the Atlantic Ocean. Heath awakens to find Gavin dead and his plane stuck in the middle of a historic junkyard.
The Bermuda Triangle has claimed hundreds of ships and planes over the centuries and Heath has accidentally happened upon them. Set in the center of the junkyard is an island inhabited by nearly every pilot, sailor, and passenger of those lost transporters, still alive and unchanged. The island is the centerpiece of one of the world’s greatest mysteries and there is no escape for anyone caught in its web. Yet Heath refuses to believe that this foggy, dark place will become his last destination and searches for the greatest unfound treasure of all: a way out!

Tara Woods Turner | 33 comments Heck of a story - I love it! I'm not sure this qualifies as a blurb, however. It is more like a description you would use to describe your set up to a friend over the phone. The blurb has to be so engaging you can't wait to read more. Your blurb actually does this very well but there is something off about your wording and approach. I will think about it some more and get back to you when i have something more constructive to offer. Congratulations for hitting on such an exciting spin on a phenomena that is already exciting enough as it is. I'm excited to see this develop.

Tara Woods Turner | 33 comments Also I wanted to point out that you probably do not want to start your blurb out with such an open ended question. The answer could only be yes or no, right? Those who have never wondered about the Bermuda Triangle a day in their lives will answer no and you have lost their interest already. As a writer you don't exactly care if they have ever wondered what happens to in the Bermuda Triangle because you know your story will be so unique and thrilling that everyone will get sucked into the novel.
As salesmen know don't give anyone a chance to say no. Consider this:
The Bermuda Triangle - the deadly mystery that has filled explorers with horror for centuries, a phenomena of unparalleled power able from which no man has ever escaped. Until now.

Or something like that. Assume that the reader is ready to be swept up into your story and proceed from there. Oh yeah, I'm totally one of those people who cares not even a little bit about the BT and I am excited about the book - so there you go :)
