It's probably waaaaay to late...but let's talk about the ending. I must admit, I didn't like it too much. It seemed kinda fast to me. And still somewhat easy, I mean, the results were pretty much as planned.
I would have left out some of the training and stuff. We were all initiated in Divergent, I for my part lived the initiation. So anytime it comes up in another story it just reminds me of Tris. And it's not even that interesting. I think it's a somewhat lazy way to get all the information across before you can actually start the action.
So, I really enjoyed The Bone Season, but it's by far not my favorite and it could have been shorter.
I'm definitely gonna pick up the second book though, because I want to know how Scilon (Scion London, was that the name for it?) works, and the Mime-Lords and all of that. I think that the second book will be much better.

And also...I am.not going to pick up the second book although I loved the world building

And I don't care about any of the characters except The Seven Dials. I may pick it uo just to see more of the world building but i don't really know. We'll see :)
Valid points, all of them. Yeah, Lissa and the spirit shock got kinda annoying really fast and then I don't even know any more names of characters, oops. But Paige is awesome and the Mime Lord (whatshisname) sounds really good (he is an ass but the best people are). The world building got me swooning! I didn't know that I'd love the spirit thing this much but I do!
And I love surveillance stories. Or rather people having to stay off the radar in such a society.

Same here, the world building was AMAZING. The story disappointed me though and that's why I am really unsure of continuing
