Please do not discuss events from later chapters. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine.

Christina Pilkington | 126 comments I feel like the book has finally just started! My favorite part of this section is the world building. A salt city that is always on the move and disintegrates and rebuilds itself in the span of a week???? How awesome is that???

I LOVE time travel and books with alternate universes/parallel worlds so I'm really liking that part of this book, too. I'm wondering if it is just Megan using her power to pull Firefight from his dimension into hers, or if Firefight (who seems like the Megan of his world so he might have similar abilities) or someone from his world are doing the same and have the ability to transport themselves to David's world. Maybe David will get pulled into theirs? Maybe they will team up to stop the Epics?

And Prof fighting against himself? That would be a great fight scene! Although, I don't think it would turn out exactly like they hoped for. It seems a little too easy. I think there is something else going on that Prof is hiding.

Justine (justine_ao) I'm interested to know what exactly is going on with Larcener; he does seem a little different. I agree that it can't be as easy as just bringing the alternate Prof through to do the fighting. I still don't completely understand this part - is Firefight the same person as Megan in another reality? I think I've forgotten a few details there because I can't remember exactly how the two of them relate now.

Christina Pilkington | 126 comments I've finished already, so I don't want to give anything away. I don't think there is any mention in the other books about Firefight and Meghan being related in any way. In the next section, you should have this question answered in a vague sort of way.

Justine (justine_ao) I think I've read the part you're talking about already and that much I had sort of assumed. I thought maybe I had missed something else, but I guess not:)

Bill | 1596 comments In the last book Megan said she thinks Firefight is another version of her. I got the book from the library so can't get the exact quote.

Justine (justine_ao) Yes that is what I thought I remembered. For all kinds of reasons that doesn't really make sense, and isn't explained. Why flames for him and dimension manipulation for Megan? How are those alternate versions?

Justine (justine_ao) Unfortunately this doesn't get answered in the last section either:(

Sky Corbelli | 288 comments Well, to be fair, the same people didn't necessarily get the same powers in every dimension, based on the Steelheart power set, so it could have been alter-Megan with a different set of powers.

Suzanne | 1582 comments The metaphors calmed down a bit in this section - yay!
I like the idea of the constantly moving city- it's cool.

Every metaphor makes me cringe. I've taken to skimming over them.

I'm happy to se Tia alive. This section is better than the last, bit I still feel like very little has happened. Some interesting workd building at least.

Seems likek a lot yet to resolve..

Bill | 1596 comments Like your new title Rob. He eases up on the metaphors in the second half a bit.

Too little, too late. I've stopped liking him as a protagonist, and I doubt that will change..

I liked him OK in the first book, found him annoying in the second, and can't stand him in the 3rd. I mostly just want to see how the story ends, but it seems like even that's a bit of a disappointment to all the but most hardcore of Sanderson fans (of which I used to consider myself one).

So long as he doesn't screw up Stormlight I'll be happy though. And the 6th Mistborn book was way more enjoyable for me then the 5th one. So maybe I'll just stick to his Cosmere stuff from now on.
