Kristi (kristicoleman) The first thread is posted!!

Sandra Heinzman (vasandra) Do we start reading it now or were we supposed to start it earlier so we could discuss today?

Kristi (kristicoleman) Either way Sandra. I usually post the thread and then read the section. But you could pre-read if that is how you want to do it.

Sandra Heinzman (vasandra) I haven't started it yet and wanted it know if I was already behind, lol.

I usually try to read ahead of the thread being posted, or at least early in the week after it is posted, but maybe because I'm always worried about falling behind!

I have already read the first section and was pleasantly surprised that the text reads quite quickly, so I think I'll be able to keep up easily enough.

Natalie (nsmiles29) I'm in! Excited about this read! I downloaded several samples of translations on my kindle and read through the first couple chapters in each translation. I actually liked the Ormsby best, which was handy since it's free.

I read tons of reviews online and it seemed everyone was all over the place on which translation preferred. That's why I love that "try a sample" feature on kindle. Very handy.

Esther I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place - but I'm signing out of the Don Quixote reading. I started it, but I'm not enjoying the read. I don't find it amusing and I'm struggling to connect to it. There are other reads that the group is doing that I would rather focus on.
