After you post the five books you chose in the Book Bank thread (here), you wait until March. On March 1st, you start reading books from the book bank to which everyone contributed (the books you read don't have to be the books you chose, they can be any book from the bank!!) . Whoever reads the most books in March from the book bank will be the winner of the month :)
