I thought I remembered you asking for it on the lending thread and figured it was likely. =D

Yeah, I think I'm at the "cave and buy it" stage. But chances are I'll enjoy it so it's worth it.

Question: Is the last name of this author 4 letters apart?"
No, sorry Sunshine - it would have to be D and S and they are way further apart than just 4 letters. The initial doesn't count. It has to be first and last name... (The initial H is the fifth letter with D as the first, so it wouldn't have worked anyway. My Kevin Hearne example was at the maximum length apart.)

One author is fine. So long as one fits the rule, it will qualify.
***edit***
You can't mix the authors to fit the letters. It must the same person's initials used to fit the rule. ie only Sam Schooler; not Heidi Schooler (not that this works for rule, but hopefully you get my gist!)

I got it now. Thanks ;)

Cool. Thank you!

You have to count the K as the first letter and the P would be the 6th letter.

Sorry - I haven't read that one...
Is it on the MMR list for books set in countries outside the US? If it is there it will work. Otherwise you'll have to read it and see if it fits.

Great - good to go :)

It still can't be obviously set in the US though... Needs to be a new world or future world that isn't a straight derivative of the US :)

Yes that's right. You can only change your book selection during the week the theme was called... Once the new theme is called, the book selection can't change.

Thank you, both! This is what I thought but I couldn't find it on the rules.

Each team member must post their selection (option 1, 2 or 3) in the week that the theme is announced. Please follow the format provided in msg 3. You can only change you book selection in this initial week. So choose carefully.

Option 1
19. Read a book published for the first time between February 2015 and to date.
Option 2
