I'm thinking about reading book only by Czech authors this time around (and hopefully finish more than one). They usually have only a few rating here on goodreads (not many of them are translated) and I've accumulated quite a lot of book by young authors, both fiction and poetry, so I'm hoping to get to them!
Still working on a TBR but I am definitely going to be reading Millenium by Chiles Samaniego which I was sad but not surprised to find had 0 ratings.(If anyone else is interested: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... )
Here's what I'll be reading!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSYZB...
This is my first time participating! :D
This is my first readathon and om so excited for this :) I picked 3 books with under 4 star rating and under 5000 ratings here on Goodreads.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijy1W...
I'm starting to form my tbr. I find that comics and graphic novels along with manga aren't that big in the book community. I'm hoping to build my tbr using ones that I need to read. So excited!
I deleted my previous comment because I just realized I've got some books that could qualify on my immediate tbr that could qualify for this readathon. I'm off to give my readathon pile some more thought LOL. :)
Whats are the dates for this readathon?I'll definitely be joining in as I love talking about under hyped books on Booktube :)

I am so excited for the readathon to begin! My TBR list is extremely ambitious, but I am excited for the challenge. I linked my video down below. It is my first readathon that I am participating in as a book tuber- so I'm double pumped! Bring on Saturday! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iieT5...

Thanks I already have my book picked out and will be mentioning all the details of this readathon in my next video :)
Hi All! This is my first #underhypedreads readathon! Here is my youtube video about my TBR:
https://youtu.be/4QJtzmH1DlM
Essentially, all the books I've chosen have less than 5,000 ratings on Goodreads and aren't really talked about much on booktube (as far as I've seen).
Happy Reading!
This is going to be my first readathon and I'm very excited to be taking part! Here is my TBR video
https://youtu.be/Ucvr-7IR20g
All the books I've picked have less than 1000 ratings, and I think there are a couple with less than 100. It was so interesting to see what books I had that didn't have many ratings on Goodreads, especially as I had assumed some of them were really popular.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is planning to read!
Ok I finally decided on my TBR! It's a rather ambitious list but I like a challenge (as long as it involves reading lol). Anyway here's the list:Ant-Man, Vol. 1: Second-Chance Man by Nick Spencer
The Most Famous Illegal Goose Creek Parade by Virginia Smith
Captain America and Hawkeye by Cullen Bunn
Murder on the Mauretania by Conrad Allen
Starboard Secrets by Hope Callaghan
Between by Kerry Schafer
Just finished reading Blood on the River: James Town 1607 it had less than 2,500 ratings but I loved it! Happy reading! :)
Definitely joining in. I just loaded up with books from the library and it turns out some of them will be perfect for this. Options include:
Mr. CSI: How a Vegas Dreamer Made a Killing in Hollywood, One Body at a Time
The Merchant of Dreams -- first in the series was great! Have the third book as well, but it takes some time to work through.
The Woefield Poultry Collective
It's Now or Never: The No-Nonsense Guide to Leadership
Keep The Change
No Ghouls Allowed
The Baker Street Letters
Plus some myriad books I've been receiving from Bookbub.
I just uploaded my TBR video. I'm almost done with Roots by Alex Haley and will probably finish it this afternoon. My overall goal though is to read five books/plays/graphic novels in total.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBw13...
I am late to the party but I have been reading a book that I feel is under-hyped. It is Anne Bishops Vision in Silver. It currently only has 10,792 Ratings so my issues is does this fall under the under-hyped category or not. I feel it does but not sure what the rules are. I would love some feed back. I will be getting a tbr up today. I just need to know if I could add this one.

I finished my first book yesterday! Roots by Alex Haley was my first book finished and I can honestly say....IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! If you ever get a chance, check it out!
I know I'm alittle late but right now I'm reading Slave of My Thirst their is also The Sudbury School Murders those are the main two I'm focusing on. Will see if I can finish them both before the read-a-thon is done here hoping.
I'm a little late to posting here but here is my TBR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfp0c... I've already finished one of them, and I'm in the middle of another two. Hope I'll get through all of them by the end of the week.

So, I'm really struggling with the first book on my TBR. I'm only still in the beginning of it and just want it to be over. Considering just putting it on hold, and pick up the next book instead.
Any advice ? :)

Reading is something you should enjoy so I would say to not waste your time on books you're not enjoying =)

So it's almost over but I just started reading a super under hyped German book about a girl who becomes a Muslim and has to deal with so much hate and prejudice and it's a review copy and actually so under hyped that it has 0 ratings on good reads and I had to add the book cause it didn't exist yet on here xD
So I have finally finished filming my wrap-up video and I have never spoken so much about what I've read in one video! I absolutely adored each of the books I read, they were beautifully written and I didn't want them to end. Unsure how I'm going to edit the video down to 15mins!!

I've picked out a few books; The Actuator: Fractured Earth, Time Ships and Flatland. These are all books that I've never heard anyone talk about but I also have others on my shelf that I may swap in instead as I realised all of my choices are science-fiction!
