Team Peanuts
Hmmm, I think it was actually one of my first as well. I guess that gives me all the more reason to revisit it at some point. But there are so many other books, new books that I'd like to read hehe. Some books I really like rereading, others not so much. I think it has had to be a long time since I read the book for the reread to really be something I enjoy. Or it has to be a series with so many details that I can't possibly remember them all with just one read. The Cassie Palmer series for instance is one that I started rereading and that I really want to continue rereading (if only they'd fit better into my challenges, grrr) before I pick up the latest release because there are sooo many details that are finally making more sense now that you know more about the story.
Rereading time next month? Eh, Silje? ;-) I'm sure we'll have lots of reverse cards to cover again hehe.
I was thinking of doing an Anita Blake re-read-a-thon as well :)I miss Anita. The series was my first urban fantasy series and she prettymuch defines the kickass heroine for me. I just love how cold and pragmatic she is.
I think I stopped afteer book 15 or 16. Can't remember which but it was after (view spoiler). I think I'm still not over that one lol :D

About the book
This was a sad and cruel story written in such warmhearted way as possible it is to write about child labour. Though it is children's book and really easy read I couldn't hold back the tears in the end.
Do we think about who may have made the things (we don't even really need) when we buy cheap goods made in China... India.. etc?
Yes, this book touched my heart.
Thanks! And no worries, found the post just fine! :-)Interesting memory connection! And it definitely sounds like an interesting book as well. Indeed something we don't usually think about, hm.
For future reference, since it can come in handy sometimes: to link the message directly, you can right click on the time/date stamp on the right of your post and then choose "copy link location". That gives you the direct link of your post.

Awesome!!With Carol's and Danielle's books, that takes care of both our remaining 2 cards :-D
Which will leave us with two Wild cards (which need to fit any card from 0-9 or skip) and two Wild Draw 4 cards (read anything).

Here you go memory
Great!I have a couple of books on the go at the moment, but I'll pick up
next week.And then I'll start
next weekend once I have my three current books finished. I'm starting to feel as though time is running away from me again haha. ;-)
Hello Team Peanuts!! I'm Jennifer from Team Doctor Who. My memory is Nancy Drew's book Secret of the Old Clock. I remember my Mom talking about Nancy Drew books that she read when she was a little girl. A couple of you also had memories of Nancy Drew.
Hi Team Peanuts! I'm Victoria from Team Wizard of Oz. Memory:
♥ I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading. I think I loved books before I started school, I still have several children picturebooks in the attic from my early years. I always found a quiet corner to read whenever I could, preferred that to going out and play:P The Nancy Drew series was great at that time.
My mom is fond of romance novels and at age 14-15 I was so curious about the books she read, but wouldn't let me read. So finally one day I got my hands on one of those books and started reading in secret...I've been in love with romance books ever since! (needless to say my mom was a bit frustrated when she caught me reading her books, but she realized it was hopeless to keep me away:P)
These days romance is still a favuorite genre, but also expanding into paranormal and fantasy=) One of my favourite authors these last years is Anne Bishop. I completely fell in love with the world and characters in The Black Jewels series, I've read the books several times just to loose myself in that world again=)
Book: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
How it Fits: Main genres are paranormal and fantasy
Date Read: 17 Mar 2016
BOOK COMPLETE
Memory option -
Mario Bros - So, keep from getting bored out of my mind my father bought me eight issues of Tinkle, (now you might be wondering how I know all this considering I was six at the time - Guardian/dad buys books for 6 year old boy who come live with him??
Well I did enjoy it! It was 3 Stars for me because while I liked it I wish (view spoiler). I was just shocked at the ending. I mean you have to read the next one just for peace of mind lol.
Haha ok, I'll keep that in mind! Good thing I have all of them readily available so I can go straight from one to the other if necessary.
Mmhh I think it was October. I'll try and have all the books read by then :-)Is it just me or is this year a really good year for new releases in really good UF/PNR series?!

I've read Every Last Word which has a teenage main character, and the post mentions reading when they were 14-15 which are teenage years.

Blue DahliaDate finished: March 20
Rating: 4 stars
Connection: This is a romance book.
I just finished
.Wanted to like it more than I did. But since I'm still not quite sure what to make of the whole thing, I might just feel inclined to pick up the second book at some point, though definitely not right away.
I'm going to put this into one of the wild spots, which leaves us with three cards that remain to be filled. Nice going everyone!
Of course, there's a few books we still need to finish hehe, but we do have a little more than a week left.
The book also works for the Star Trek memory, making reference to going to the library, which fills the last unclaimed spot for the memories!
That being said, if somebody wants to snag the memory for Team Cars with a book they have read or are currently reading, please feel free to do so!The same goes for card 6 in Hand Nine. If you have a book that you just finished or are currently reading that fits, we can slot it in there, no problem!
Both the memory and the card concern
- just fyi. :-)

will work for the Team Cars memory. The book is a mystery/romance
Feel free to go for the memory! I'm personally going to feel less pressured if they're all done before I have to rush with my book. And the other book works for the 6 card *grin* so I'm just going to put the book there as well. That way it's completed and we won't have to worry about it anymore :-)
Hi Peanuts! Stacie from TMNT here with a memory check in.♥ My fondest childhood memory in relation to books (apart from library raiding in school during school hours *grin*) was that twice a year during winter and summer sales, my mum took me to a bookshop where she allowed me to pick out 3-4 books that she'd pay for me, and then I always grabbed a few extra that I paid for with the pocket money I'd carefully saved up for that purpose. The preferred series at the time: Walter Farley's Black Stallion.

Yes, it's a good book and so was Obsidian Butterfly. This series was one of the first paranormal I read.
I love reading new books, but I'm also love rereading books too.
