Fahim Mahmood | 1 comments *Spoilers* A couple kids try to make themselves genies from a genie they found. The genie that helps them was once with a lot of other genies and they had all given the king gifts and his gift was to make everything he touches gold. This made him get banished. This was a single book and not a series I think. One of the things the kids did as a genie was to ask for endless amounts of chocolate and the other kid made it different chocolate each time. Another thing was they had asked for x-ray vision and gradually he kept seeing through more things until he saw bones. In the end the genie that was teaching them had to leave them.

Justanotherbiblophile | 1740 comments Not your book - but in the theme; _Wishing Season_ (recommended)

Also, you might want to update your subject line to be more descriptive; "Kids learn to become Genies from found Genie."?
