After his recent breakup Colin and his best-friend go on a road trip. They end up in a small town in Tennessee. They stop at a gas station to go to the bathroom and get some snacks. While they are there they meet a girl named Lindsey and she saves Colin's life. Colin and his friend go over to Lindsey's house for dinner and her mom offers them a job. When they aren't working Colin is working on a the room that can predict if a girl is going to dump him or not. Then Lindsey and Colin start getting closer to each other and they end up dating.
Personal Reaction: I thought Colin was really annoying at first and he got on my nerves so it was hard to stay focused on the book but it got better towards the middle and ending of the book. Colin started to get become enduring. He was whining a lot in the book but other then that the book was alright. I would only recommend it to a friend if they read a lot or like to read about stupid people whining about everything.
