Right now I'm reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I've tried reading it before and 3/4 in ended up so busy I couldn't carry on, then when I finally could I had forgotten what had happened so I'm try to get through it again. It's pretty good but I'm finding it quite a sluggish, slow read to be honest.

I'm reading Faith and Beauty, the fourth book in the Berlin series of Jane Thynne, perfect for everyone who likes the idea of pre WWII spies in Berlin. Love it :)

Ouch! Outlander was really insufferable to me. It's all a matter of tastes, of course. What I wanted to point out is how can you (or anyone else reading this) read a book after having seen the movie. Doesn' t the latter spoil the former? I mean, half the core of a book is often in the plot, isn't it?
By the way right now I'm reading "Mistborn" by Sanderson. A piece of art as every Sanderson book is, yet I prefer the "Stormlight Archive" series so far.
The Hatching by Ezekiel Boone. I love horror but have a fear of spiders. This book is really testing me, there have been a few times I've nearly put it down due to being a proper scaredy cat haha
Craig wrote: "I'm reading The Fireman by Joe Hill it's going by too fast and I'm trying to slow down and pace myself but it's hard to stop reading, just have to see what happens next!"Craig I really enjoyed The Fireman! I will say that I felt it was not his typical horror book- it felt more sci-fi, dystopian rather than horror. I still liked it though! Joe Hill is a favorite of mine!
I am currently reading The Wrath & the Dawn which is so far the right amount of YA fluff I need at the moment! My coworker devoured the two books and recommended it to me because I love love love loved A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury.
Hi everyone, I'm Logan, I'm new to the group! Full disclosure, I am a comic book nerd, so that is mostly what I read! Currently I am reading:The Wicked + The Divine Vol 1
The Batman: Murders (This is a batman book, but in normal book format, so normal pages)
Thanks for the invite - I am currently reading The Shining - Stephen King, Surfacing - Margaret Atwood and The Birdwatcher - William Shaw :)
I'm currently reading:The Fall of Kings by Ellen Kushner and Delia Sherman,
A Blush of Magic by Rose Connelly,
The Romance of the Forest by Ann Radcliffe.
I'm working on a reading challenge and I'm almost 4/5ths done with it.

I added The Garden of Evening Mists to my to read list. This sounds like a very good read. Are you enjoying?
I am reading a collection of essays, written by 18-25 year old students, 50/50 male/female in upper Egypt. They're about hopes and dreams and questions about life. They're incredible because they're so honest and so easily written and read. They're called "Roads to the strange" transliterated from Arabic. I wish you a kind day.
I'm reading "Aurora Floyd" by Mary Elizabeth Braddon. I'm completely addicted to Victorian sensation novels. Yes, Collins is my favorite but I have to pace myself or I'll run out of books. It's a narrow, extinct genre.
Reading 'The Black Echo' - Michael Connelly. Excited to get to know the 'Harry Bosch' that I've enjoyed on the Amazon TV series.Love a good thriller and an intriguing detective who's carrying 'baggage', but performs their job with integrity and tenacity.

I'm currently reading The Forgetting Time by Sharon Guskin which is a fictional account of the past life research done by Dr. Tucker who wrote Life Before Life. It's VERY well written and a surprisingly fast read. I'm also reading Touched by Elisa Amore. It was offered for free on Book Bub and had very high ratings so I downloaded it. Generally, I prefer the deeper, darker themes in A fiction over YA. I've had trouble getting into the story for this reason. :(
I am about to begin on Murder by Candlelight by Michael Knox Beran, its a book about this history behind gothic novels.

Currently I'm reading Erle Stanley Gardner's The Case of the Green-Eyed Sister, and David Dodge's To Catch a Thief.
I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is my first time reading through the series, believe it or not. I can finally see why these books are so beloved.
