A new quote by a famous author about books has been posted.
Remember that your book must have been finished after this point.

Debbie wrote: "I love to read and I have travelled many places and learned many things because of and with the help of books, but my upbringing, my faith and my 60 years have made me the person I am."
I agree, Debbie. Books have made an impression on me, but my experiences and the influence of people around me have made me the person that I am, too.

The Pursuit by Janet Evanovich & Lee Goldberg => P
The End of Me by Tara Brown => T
Can I have P & T, please?
Congratulations, Kathy. That's it! The quote from author Robert Jordan.
I like it when a book manages to teach me something in the process of telling a story. There is an old author, Sara Ware Bassett, who wrote a bunch of books for children that were designed to teach about a certain subject:
Carl and the Cotton Gin
Ted and the Telephone
Steve and the Steam Engine
Christopher and the Clockmakers
I read The Story of Leather. I actually enjoyed it and learned a lot about the making of leather.
