What are everyone's thoughts about ereaders?

I love my kindle a lot more than I thought I would. It's nice to be able to search, bookmark, and make notes.

But there is still nothing like a paper book.
I still have several series, that I must buy in hardback.

I don't know what I'd do without my ereader. The only time I prefer to read a paper book is for book club. I like to write my thoughts on Post-It notes and leave it on the applicable page so I can discuss it with the group. I haven't figured out to do that with my ereader.

I like books. The way they feel, the way they smell and turning the pages. I enjoy looking at my books to read and I love going to the library and used book sales. I do borrow some books on my tablet from overdrive through the library, but I prefer physical books.
