TCF Hangman II

The Haunted Bookshop is a great book. I read it several times before I realized that it was actually a sequel. I have a quote by Christopher Morley that I will use for Hangman sooner or later.
There are 2 Hs, Denise.

No worries, yesterday was a pajama day, because pajama days are the bestest days. ^_^

Absolutely. The second best are swim suit days. Lounging around the pool all day long.

I live in Ohio. We don't get those until at least mid-June at the very earliest. Except when the weather rolls a nat 20 and we get them in early May.
I didn't realize that you were from Ohio, Amber. I'm flying into Dayton next Tuesday to visit my son and his family. What's the weather like?

Finally warmed up (usually in the 60s-70s for the last few days), but I think we just hit monsoon season. But as the quote goes (which I'm sure I'm about to mangle): "If you don't like the weather in Ohio, just wait 15 minutes."

N, please?

Prey and The Flame
P or an F?"
You can ask for two letters.
Leslie, there are 2 Fs. There is no P.

Ah, did Hubby like the book? I read it for a reading challenge about two years ago and didn't understand the hype.

He said he remembers that it was sad. That's it. I don't like sad books, so I have no plans to ever read it.

well done Leslie! altho I first saw it as "Sitting in the cold bitching for an hour..." I shouldn't project.

It's a very good start. No solutions yet, please.
These puzzles are scheduled to last for at least a couple of days :)

Could it really be... but let's give it a couple more days - I won't be guessing it right now ;)

I'm impressed. There's not much to go by right now.
