I know exactly what you mean, Denise. A little over a year ago, I cared for my mother until she passed away. It was the wonderful folks here at The Challenge Factory that kept me grounded.

how do you play this version of Hangman?

Nancy, this is an ongoing game that anyone can play. Jump in at any time to request a letter, but you have to have asked for at least one letter in order to make a guess at the puzzle.

When you've finished a book, use the title (ignore a, and, the) or author's first or last name to ask for a letter in the quote.

examples:
to ask for a B - The Beekeeper's Apprentice
to ask for a J - a book by Jane Austen
to ask for a W - a book by Scott Westerfield

You must must finish your book after the puzzle is posted.
Books must be at least 150 pages.
For anthologies, go by the editor's name.

It's pretty good. But it's not Roan. I love Holden. But it's just not the same. The infected kind of fade into the background....but may come up more in future books.
