TCF Hangman II

I will guess T

No, I haven't, but I've seen it bandied about a little here on GR and have gotten curious about it. Have you? If so, is it any good?

Cool! I'll have to look into it!
Trea, I'm with Penni about A Discovery of Witches. It's a great book.
But as with most long books, pack your patience. It's not a quick read. And the author is a history professor. You can expect lots of historical details!
I gave it a solid 4 stars. Book 2 is a 3 1/2 stars, and book 3 back up to 4 stars.

A new quote has been posted. It's a short one this time.
Remember that you book must have been finished after this point.

I'm fairly good at being patient! Push comes to shove, I'll read two books at a time while reading it!

She's right - some people have issues with it being "too long". I fully enjoy that kind of read - but it's not everyone's cuppa.

I just finished an Amanda Quick novel, Garden of Lies. I will guess an "A"

I didn't laugh. I may have snickered, but I didn't laugh :)
There are 3 As, Leslie.

If the writing is good and I'm immersed in the story, longer books don't bother me. Some of the later books in both the Harry Potter and The League (Sherrilyn Kenyon) series have been real chunksters, as evidenced by the one I just spent the last two hours finishing: Born of Legend. Clocked in at over 700 pages, and spanned 5 years at least, but it was totally worth it all!
That being said, is there an S?

Is there an I?

I just wanted to see if it would work. I will refrain in the future.....unless I really, really can't get it.

That's it, Leslie. Congratulations! Full points for getting the quote right. Um, points are docked for getting the author, J.M. Barrie, wrong :)

Meh. Barrie. Carrie. But singing is fun though!

Trea, there are only 5 Rs in that huge quote!
Denise, there are 6 As. (Kind of a small number, too.)

Penni, what's going on? Are you just in a slump?

Was it any good, Shari? I picked this one up when it was on sale after reading the sample, but I'm still not sure about it.

I haven't read the author before, so wouldn't really know what typical is for her! Good to know it was a good read, and quick too!

I find that my reading goes in spurts. It seems like I read constantly for a few weeks, and then I take a short break.
