Tyler was slipping on his shoes on the edge of his bed. He had really wanted to take Reese to a movie but his father had always said that was a bad move. That taking a girl out to a movie would result in not talking and not talking wouldn't allow her to see what a 'great man' Tyler had become. Tyler rolled his eyes at that memory but the idea overall made sense. The boy ran his fingers through his hair absently out of habit. His wavy hair setting back for a second before falling back into place. Tyler had settled for a thin charcoal pull over and some black jeans. It was simple but Tyler felt comfortable with Reese and he hoped she did as well. He made his way out and when he saw her a smile crept along his lips, "Ready?" He walked over to her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, "You look beautiful." She looked like herself and that alone was beautiful.
(( HER NAME WAS KATHERINE !!!!!! REMEMBER KITTY KAT OMG I'M SO HAPPY !! ))
It was time to take flight. Well practicing anyway. Kat was about to go practice but she had passed by the library again and..well that's all she remembers. Katherines raven black hair lay spread out before her as she lay on her back, her face lost in a book. Her stomach rumbled reminding her that she hadn't eaten, she ignored it. Kat remembered that Reese and Tyler had a date and she had really wanted to see them before they left. Kat was the quietest out of the group and kept to herself but Reese was her best friend and she understood that. Kat cursed herself but it slowly faded when the next thought came to mind. That meant Ben would be here. And Kat would be. Both of them. Alone. She felt a blush come onto her pale cheeks but quickly brushed it off, idiot.

Katherine heard her name and the door slam shut causing her to sit up. It sounded like Tyler. Was he laughing too? Katherine held her book at her side as she walked out of library and into the hall. When she was in the living room she peeked her head out towards the door, "Hello?" She called out. She didn't know where Ben was and from the looks of it Reese and Tyler left. Katherine put a strand of hair behind her ear and furrowed her brows. Okay? She slowly turned around, figuring she might as well go back to the library.

--
Tyler stiffened up when he felt Reeses fingers slide into his. Her hand was so soft and cold. Tyler smiled and intertwined his fingers in hers, "So, how do you feel about this whole set up? It's certainly been a while." The four hadn't gotten together for a long time but now they have come of age where their abilities were being triggered everything was falling into place. Sure, they knew this would happen one day but it just felt strange.

--
Katherine offered him a warm smile as she took a bite. Once she was done she grabbed her plate and his to the sink. Katherine quickly braided down her hair and began washing their dishes. "Did they look like they were going somewhere fancy?" Kat asked, not looking up when she asked. She wondered where Tyler would take Reese. She prayed she would get all the details. Katherine scrunched up her nose at the thought of her being so nosey. "I can't say I didn't see it coming." Kats voice was very soft and gentle, it always was. Suppose she was like her mother in that way.

Kat shook her head, "Cold hearted? Never. She just keeps to herself." Which was true, partly why the two got along so well. Katherine was never good at talking about what she felt and what not and neither was Reese so not having to worry about it with each other was definitely relieving. Kat finished up and offered Ben a smile as she dried off her hands. "Just because someone doesn't say how they feel doesn't mean they're cold hearted." She chuckled as she walked passed him, ruffling his hair in a playful manner. "Goofball." She grabbed an apple from the fridge and then her book, beginning to walk back down the hall.
--
Tyler noticed the topic had taken a bad turn and he gently placed her hand back in his. "You were born to make a difference either way, Reese. You have for me." He said, his voice was soft and genuine as he looked down at her. "Come on, we're almost there." Tyler made a few turns and there it was. Gothams only aquarium, black and empty. "They close at 7." It was 9. "Let's just say I have some friends." Tyler looked it over and then down at Reese, "Bad first date?"

___
Tyler nodded with a bit of cockiness to it. "Yeah of course but," he pulled out a shiny piece of medal, a wicked smile spread on his lips. "So does this." Tyler stuck the master key back into his pocket and pulled her along. Once they had got inside he switched on the lights, illuminating a long hall of pure glass. It was as if they were in some type of glass tube, locked on the inside. "Here fishy, fishy, fishy." Tyler smiled back at Reese, beaconing her over. "This was my favorite place as a kid. We don't have you know, fishes and stuff back home. This is the only thing I really came back for." Soon enough a few creatures began to reveal themselves making Tylers face light up. "Amazing huh?"

Tyler looked over at Reese, a small smile beginning to form on his lips as he watched her admire the fish. Her long brown hair hung in wavy locks down her shoulders and Tyler recalled pulling on it a lot as a child. Definitely not one of his best. The water made her eyes glisten and before he could stop himself he blurted out, "So beautiful." Tyler flashed back to the time he first met Reese, the first time her saw her. And god, was he hooked. He remembered pulling on his fathers sleeve and asking who she was. Reese Wayne. Bruce Waynes daughter and extraordinarily talented. She had won him in play fights so often, clearly having trained at an early age. She was committed and Tyler admired that but still, her saftey concerned him.

Katherine looked over at Ben, her cheeks flushing. "Oh yes I'm fine." She gave a small nod agreeing to his suggestion. Little Kitty Kat couldn't lie, just being this close to Ben made butterflies swirl inside her stomach and she wasn't very proud of that. He made her nervous. Dear god, she's supposed to kill off people who want to destroy human kind and she's can't even handle being alone with a boy. Then again, iy wasn't just any boy. Biting her lip she hoped to change the subject, "How do you like it here? Miss home yet?"

Thanks! Lost it ^-^
"How she stupid was I." He laughed. Tyler looked over the fish and couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to live in the water. A whole other world in this whole other world. "Must be nice to be human." He spoke aloud, his eyes still focused on the fish. Tyler couldn't help but imagine the endless possibilities he would have if he wasn't..well him.
---
Katherine smiled and tried not to flush when he wrapped his arm around her. This felt right, warm. Without thinking the girl snuggled into Bens side, closing her eyes. "You'll see them soon. I think we get to go back in a month. But we'll have to come back." Kat minded but then again she didn't. In all honesty, she didn't have anything to go back to. Perhaps her home library. No doubt this one was bigger though. Kat tried not to think of home and instead squeezed her eyes shut.

Tyler nodded, contemplating her statement. "Well I can promise it's not exactly fun being me either." Finally looking down at her he offered a small smile. "It's not all about being Superman and being able to do things others may not..in fact just like you we lose a lot of other privileges as well. I can't have a normal life, Reese." Giving a small shrug he looked back up. "You have a shot at living your life for yourself without all these expectations of being great. Sure, maybe your dad or yourself for that matter but in reality, you can just walk away. I respect your decision, I do. I just..I guess it's just good to have options."
----
Kat opened her eyes, staring ahead. "Yeah, I suppose." She didn't mean to sound cold but Kat and her mother never really had a loving relationship so missing her well..it wasn't really a problem. Sure, she loved her mother but it just wasn't like that. "I'm not really missing much." She said honestly, her face blank of much emotion. "Does that sound terrible?"
