Hello, I'm Izzy and I absolutely adore Hamilton ever since I heard it around 4 months ago. My goal is to memorize all the lyrics for all the songs. In the meantime I'll just bug my parents about Hamilton and hope they don't get too annoyed with me.

Hello! Yep that's pretty much my goal too. I have already bugged my sister by singing the Schylur sisters. She's annoyed cause now she knows some o the lyrics of that song lol.
Welcome, Izzy! My stepsibling and I rap Guns and Ships at my stepbrother because he hates music. My mom and stepdad love Hamilton. My other family does not like Hamilton, but I don't really bug them with it. Usually.
Wow, you and your stepsibling are able to rap to Guns and Ships? Good job! I've wanted to be able to since I first heard it. And don't worry, everyone who likes Hamilton occasionally bugs their friends/family who don't like it with it. Completely normal.
Thanks. It took me a couple months. I think one of my friends and I ended up playing our music at each other (me Hamilton which he doesn't like and him some music I didn't like) at high volume to annoy each other once. But at my dad's house, there are enough issues without me using Hamilton to piss people off except when I actually want to piss people off or am very stressed in which case all bets are off, but I do jokingly suggest we listen to it on a regular basis.

This one girl at my church was saying that she and her friends learned all the harmonies. I'm working on it.

I cannot sing along to any of the girls. Like literally, my voice is an octave or two lower. I also prefer singing tne guys' parts.
I can do the girl's parts fine, but my voice only goes so low, which is sad because I love all of the songs sung by guys! (Which is a lot.)
I am way better at doing the guys' parts

To be honest, I don't try that hard on the women's besides being literally incapable of hitting most of their notes (I cannot do a falsetto to save my life). I also don't like singing the women's parts because I feel a little uncomfortable with doing the women's role. It is seriously hard to explain. But like, I have the parts usually associated with women, but I am transmasculine and greygender, so the idea of using the women's role or being perceived as feminine makes me deeply uncomfortable. Best I can explain.

I am cis female and sing both male and female roles b.c to me it's more like I'm expressing myself and not the characters' identities, but it's different for every person.
It's not necessarily the characters. I like the characters and have no issues with women. I'm just uncomfortable in women's roles. I also have issues singing Eliza's parts because it's first person romance/romantic relationships and feelings a lot of the time or feelings from her relationship with Alexander, and I have issues saying anything first person sexual or romantic no matter how small. It has taken me ages to be able to sing like that one part of Aaron Burr, Sir and A Winter's Ball.

I'm Sejal. I started listening to Hamilton about 2 weeks ago, after some of my friends started bugging me to listen to it (they would sing it during class). I LOVE IT. I am for sure Hamilton trash. *may or may not be listening to Guns and Ships at this very moment*
