Heyyyy you guys! So I figured we can start by talking about things that still have to be done, but first order of business:

Teams. Ideas on how to choose them?

Hmmm well I found a generator for ideas on team names...how to form them is beyond me right now. I'll try to help think of something.

Coming up with the names isn't an issue, I found that generator too...I would love to do it as an RP event but I just don't know how to go about that.

Also, I'm having a moral dilemma because I really wanted to follow Monty Oum's rules about creating OC's but I feel like people would get pissed for me being so critical. I love the creativity here, but RWBY was Monty's pride and joy and I would hate to disappoint him by not following his rules...

Well why not do a little bit of both? Let people express creativity while following some of his rules?

Well my biggest problem is with the Faunus, like he didn't want any fantasy creature Faunus, he wanted them to be mixed with real animals.

Technically all OC's are supposed to have names relating to colors but I skipped that rule because it's way too tedious. Sorry Monty <3

Ooh okay. Yeah, I totally get it.

And that does sound a bit tedious...though my one character Ash Versailles is kind of a color...like Ash is a darker grey color I think.

I mean, I did the color names for mine because it's a personal choice but I'm not making anyone else do it if they don't want to.

But I see a couple of really cool OC's but they're a two-tailed fox or nine-tail fox Faunus and I'm just like...do I say something or just let it slide. UGH. Rules.

Now that you mention it, it sounds pretty cool to make thw character's names color related. I might change the name of my character Yuu Loga. But to either Chrome (like chrome silver) or Jae (for Jade).

It is pretty cool, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a color, it can be a variation of a color, like "Lie Ren" is associated with purple, Cinder is associated with ashes. There are a lot of possibilities.

So, back to teams. How should we get those started?

Well, Akira was suggesting that we let people who want to be leader speak up and then base the team names around them, but honestly I feel like it could just lead to arguments. I figured we make the teams first, then have a poll for the whole group to decide leaders for each team.

I also think 4 teams are a good start for RP, so we still need at least 4 more characters to be made. Which is a problem considering we only have 13 members right now.

I feel like 4 would be a lot, but it's also a perfect number at the same time. As for leaders, a poll sounds good.

Well I mean I figured 4 because we could still have individual storylines going on with having the same two teams together all the time. We have enough for three teams right now so I guess we could at least get started on those?

I feel like we should have told each other time zones....anyways, I just want to make a list of things I would like to get done, and if any of you would like to volunteer it'd be great:

So, first, we need to decide if the team names are okay, and if so, we need 3 polls created so we can decide leaders. The teams (as of right now) are:

CYAN: (Cherry, Yuu, Ash, Niriel)
CAYK: (Charlie, Adrian, Yaba, Kazuto
FAIR: (Falco, Amaya, Indigo, Raven)

Next, we need more threads made. After the teams are finalized we'll need separate threads for their dorms, we should have more classrooms, more locations in the White Fang folder...basically I just did what came to my mind, but if you have suggestions for threads, I'm all ears.

And then, we really, really need more people for this group to work. Promote it on your other groups, invite people from outside GR...we need the numbers.

Plus anything else you feel we need :)

Btw Tess you might want to change some of the character's nmes in the polls, since Amaya is now in Team CYAN and Ash is now in Team FAIR

I'm starting to think we should just skip the polls. It's been like 3 days and only 7 people voted.

So we could either go with the majority of the votes now or we could go by the first initial of each team. So that would be Cherry, Charlie, Falco, and Jennabelle. But the problem with that is Coco RPs both Cherry and Charlie so I think it would be unfair for her to have 2 leaders.

What do you guys think?

I don't think it's fair that Coco have two leaders, it's taking away a chance for someone else to be a team leader.

That's what I was thinking. So we can just take the runner up maybe?
