I think the bus is doomed to repeat coming down the same road and path that it crashed on and one day, the ghost girl meets a boy who lives in a house on the street. There is a ghost in his house too, which he recently moved into. The boy has to solve some mystery to free the girl and the ghost in his house maybe? I also remember the bus was a traveling library bus the girl and her sibling (brother I think) lived in with their aunt. I read this book in the laste 80s or early 90's and it's probably of a middle school reading interest.
