Bill | 192 comments Author & fellow Georger Dennis Purves just had more of his works added to this site by Amazon. I'm about to begin reading Bladvaneer by Dennis Purves ; the second book I've read by him.

Mike (mikekeating) I just finished Blood Rites (The Dresden Files, #6) by Jim Butcher a few days ago. Now I've started reading Blackout (Newsflesh Trilogy, #3) by Mira Grant , the last book in the zombie Newsflesh trilogy which I began about three years ago. Once that's done, there are several ebook-only novellas set in the same universe that I plan to get to.

Finished two more Janet Evanovich books Metro Girl (Alex Barnaby, #1) by Janet Evanovich and Motor Mouth (Alex Barnaby #2) by Janet Evanovich . The books are fun. Not sure what I am going to read next. I think I am ready to get some cyberpunk or science fiction to read. Been reading a lot of mysteries recently.

Bill | 192 comments With pitchers & catchers reporting over the next few days, it's time to get my thoughts focused on baseball. No offense to my friends, but the Mets have unfinished business from last year. This'll help put me in a positive mindset. 100 Things Mets Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die by Matthew Silverman

Finished Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel and found it to be okay. I enjoyed reading it, but found it easy enough to put down and didn't find myself thinking about the characters when I wasn't reading it.

I did start reading Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides yesterday on my lunch break. So far it is good, but I'm in the middle of 3 book clubs for a bit so it may take me awhile.

I don't know how you or anyone else can do that. My brain sometimes has enough trouble just handling life while reading; nevermind mind more than one book at a time.

Right now life is taking over and my reading is slow. However, So Long a Letter by Mariama Bâ for a book club is a pretty quick read.
