Jo Rowling did not write this screen play. Jack Thorne wrote the screen play. John Tiffany will direct the play. Since Rowling created the world she gets liberties, and of course her name will be featured next to any Harry Potter anything. She did collaborated with Jack as he wrote the screen play though.

...like Kayla said she didn't exactly write it and i don't think there's any news about a sequel but she did write the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and its gonna be a trilogy.
