White Fang is more than just a wolf-dog hybrid. He is a character who learns about himself much as an individual. He may even be considered to have human instincts. Throughout the book, White Fang is demonstrated as a savage, individual, and deadly fighter, who fights in a freezing and cruel world.
Each song here represents true meanings behind the book; its complications and drawn emotions from a greatly written novel by a thoughtful author.
We can all learn more than the fact that a writer thought of a creative book with a wolf-dog hybird as a main character. This book means to me that all of us, no matter what age, where we are, or what we are, will adapt to what we deal with in the world.

Although this song is practically in a major key, this song is mostly about the beauty of all the scenery. It talks about the appreciation of all the places in the book, from the cold wilderness to the Native American camp to living in San Fransisco.
Aero Chord- Surface-
Environment of the cold wilderness, cold and intense for survival. White Fang must endure the cold harsh wilderness, just what this quiet melody is meant for. The music shows no mercy, and therefore we know from the song that in the wild is the survival of the fittest.
Chopin Etude Op.10 No.4- The pursuit between Henry and the wolves. It simply represents the desperation that Henry had barely surviving against the pack of wolves, using basically everything he had.
Chopin Etude Op.10 No. 12- This piece represents the harshness of the cold. It is simply meaningful to the book because it is a classical piece representing the awes and dangers of such a cold place.
Tristam- My Friend- Father Wolf dying into the mist of the cold wilderness. As in “friend”, the book means a father-son relationship. The song is meant that the father is a brave wolf who where fight for anything for his son to nurture successfully.
Chopin Nocturne Op.72 No. 1- The mourning of One-Eyed (Father Wolf). Although One-Eyed is not mentioned very throughly in the book, I still find it sad that he died trying to save his family from starving.
Tristam - Crave - The lyrics of this song has so many representations to the book. “Little One” could mean the father referring to White Fang, and the snow environment refers to the snow wilderness.
Beethoven Op.31 No. 3 Movement No. 3- When Kiche/Mother Wolf forgets about White Fang. The song represents this part because it is a sad section of the book, in which Kiche simply forgets the existence of White Fang.
Hellberg & Deutgen vs Splitbreed - Collide- Any battle that is recounted on this book is represented in this one song. It’s meant to show grit, pain, and possibly determination depending on what way you look at it.
Chopin Scherzo No. 2- Represents the timeline for the entire book. From the sudden beginning we know that it is the wilderness, to the middle section is the sad follow-ups of the story (father wolf dying, mother wolf forgetting White Fang, etc.). We follow up again back to White Fang’s intensity, and end with a bang, the fight against Jim Hall.
