I just finished Maze Runner by James Dashner 
It has been made in to a movie which hits Cinema's here next week. Let me tell what a whirlwind of a story it was. Action, Action, Action!! My brain is a little numb from it all. So next up I think I'll read something light and fluffy! Perhaps the book Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis will do.

It's a collection of short stories and I've only read a couple, but so far it's a good book. I downloaded it a couple a weeks back when it was free.

Argh, upper level math! When I was in high school algebra, trig and geometry were a snap. I could see the problems in my head and had them worked out by the end of class. My junior year I would have had a near perfect score but I continually lost points for 'note taking'. Then I got to college and took calculus and differential equations. I understand there is a relationship between two and three dimension space (area and volume), I just couldn't see the equation in my head. It killed me. I eventually dropped Civil Engineering for Anthropology.

Think I'll pick up Gone Girl after I have finished the Animal Magnetism series that I am reading now. Gone Girl starts at the movies in two weeks I think. So want to get it read before I go see it.

That's the way Susan, Life's too short to waste time reading awful books! I haven't picked anything up since the surgery. Brain is too foggy with painkillers to make sense of the story. But think I'll be back reading today. I want to get back to the 3rd Animal Magnetism book!!

I would like to be able to read it on my Nook just because of having an instant dictionary, but since it's $9.99, I think I'd go to the library when I get around to reading it. Some of the reviews say it's a hard book to get into. I have several other books I want to read, so I'm not in a rush.

Feeling more human today!! Got maybe 20 pages read yesterday, couldn't get comfortable enough to read anymore. The weather is gorgeous though, bright blue sky and light winds. A nice change after a few days of grey and rain! Storms supposed to move in this afternoon though.
been taking a break from the Richard Jury novels. I started The Martian the other day and I'm loving it. The character is Hi-larious. Seems fairly well grounded in science, but it's the humor, the way he talks to himself, that really has me hooked.

Just finished
. I was blown away. Never heard of the author before, but he blew me away. It was funny, it was fast paced and it was interesting (astronaut stranded on Mars). I can't say enough good things about this book. I didn't want to put it down.
So I watched the first season of a TV Series called "Witches of East End" So I then hunted down the book by author Melissa De La Cruz. 
So, I read that yesterday afternoon, and let me tell you it was the biggest load of rubbish I have read in a long time. But on a good note I loved the TV Series!

I just finished Spark of Light by Elizabeth Tuttle. After the the great apocalyptic war which ended in the enslavement of the previously unknown earth's population, life is dire for Avery a young elf. This is a poignant story about Avery, as she discovers friendship, life and love.
This is a wonderful story and Elizabeth has humbled me with her first novel. I can hardly wait for the next two of the Trilogy.

Then I think I might read "Of Metal and Wishes by Sarah Fine" I have heard great things about this book.
I started "Of Metal and Wishes by Sarah Fine" this afternoon. Oh gosh its a great read so far. Think along the lines of "Phantom of the Opera" story and you wouldn't be far off the mark! Can't put it down!
