Ang from OZ | 1690 comments I started decorating my planner for 2019 today. Planners and journaling is a big craze at the moment in OZ. I been caught in the craze too it seems. But I spent most of today being creative and offline. Think that's a good thing to be! Are planners/journals a "thing" over there?

Yeah, I know a few people around here who do that. I'm not one of them, other than using my calendar to attempt to keep track of my appointments (not always successful).

I've never been big on paper planners but I have to say if we lost the internet to an alien invasion or something I would be totally lost. I do have a blogger friend who LOVES to use planners and often shares the pages she's created with her readers.
share some pics with us of yours

First day back to work for you Ang Happy Monday LOL

I was plagued with Endometriosis for my entire adult life it's probably why I only have one child. I finally had a hysterectomy at 42 which finally stopped the endo but they had to take out both ovaries because that's where it attached itself so I've been on Hormone replacement therapy ever since. I'm down to on estrogen pill per week but without it I will get night sweats, hot flashes etc.. still at 65 and worse of all hair growing on my face ewwwwwwww. Good luck w/surgery I will be thinking of you. How are the nieces and nephews ?

message 1818: by Ang from OZ (new)

Ang from OZ | 1690 comments Yes back to reality and work for me :(

Endometriosis definitely isn't fun, to keep it mostly in check I need to have clean up surgery every 2 years. My symptoms mostly present with bladder issues as I get the endo extensively around that area. Ovaries have been clean thus far. The doctor told me that if we are going to have children it's now or never.

Nieces and Nephew are good, haven't seen much of them the past 2 weeks as their father has been on holidays. A much needed break for Mum and I.

Ah yes I used to have surgery every 2-3 years for mine too. Yuck that's got to be a real headache.
It's good that the kids are with their dad.
Good luck lady!

Hi Rakara
First welcome to the forum!
I've never read her but after checking out some of her books I might just try her.
I've heard a lot about the Leah Remini book and it's on my wish list.
Tell me some of your favorite authors and why do you like Laura Lippman, what draws you to her writing?

I'm just about half way through Of Blood and Bone Of Blood and Bone (Chronicles of The One, #2) by Nora Roberts . It took me a few chapters to remember everything from book one(a year ago) but after I read the last couple of chapters of book 1 I'm flying through it.. It's one of Roberts best trilogies

Ang from OZ | 1690 comments Deb, I just gave my Mum Book 1, 2 weeks ago, I'm in trouble with her now because she's finished reading it and I haven't bought book 2 yet! They are both on my reading list for this year! I'm eagerly awaiting Gone by Midnight by Candice Fox which comes out on Tuesday!

Hi Rakara, Welcome!

what channel is that series on Kamas? Very weird. Last year in my in person book club we read a book called The Bishop's Wife about a Mormon community and practices, that was strange too.
