I'm finishing up Ilona Andrews, Kate Daniels series. Then I will be doing another early read for an author.

Every Fifteen Minutes sounds good. I want to read it too!
I just started The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. I finally got set up to check out ebooks from my local library. Big Little Lies had a waiting list, so I decided on this one instead. It's my first book by her and it's good so far.

I have Every Fifteen Minutes on my ereader, just haven't gotten to it yet. I am reading Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews, plus Enchanted by the Wolf by Michele Hauf (pre reading before release) after that i have a line up of Smoke on the water (yep singing the song in my head while writing that) by Lori Handeland. Then i have Of Dreams and Rust by Sarah Fine, and Nalini Singh new Archangel novel. So many good books and i feel like i have so little time to read!
I'm on vacation and picked up a middle grades book I bought for my kids: "Three Times Lucky" by Sheila Turnage. Great book! Murder mystery set in North Carolina. Newberry Honor Book, and for good reason.

Finished "The Husband's Secret." I loved it! It really made me stop and think, "Now what would I do in this situation....."
Susan wrote: "Almost done with Every Fifteen Min. Going to pick up Husband Secrets to day at library. Hurt my eyes on monday so I hope to start reading again to night."
Sorry to hear about your eyes. I hope you are doing okay.

I'm going to start Archangel's Enigma tonight hopefully, by Nalini Singh. I just love her books! Haven't struck a bad one yet!
I still have to finish off the last in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, I'm about 80% done with it.

Well its Friday, a special Friday not only the Friday before Labor Day but also the day before I start a much needed break.
I'm still reading for pleasure and have gotten my pile a little smaller this past week and will next week too until I get knee deep into my December reviews.
Here's what I'm reading now and hopefully this next week
The Wilds by Donna Augustine-
next is The Concillitators by James Kaufman-
and maybe if I have time -

I started "A Fatal Grace" by Louise Penny on our way home from my parents' place. So far, fantastic!
Reading Remember Murder by Linda Ladd, the 5th in the Claire Morgan series. It's okay, but so far does not match up to the first four in the series.
I hope everyone enjoys the holiday! Anyone have special plans for the day? Labour Day Holiday is in October for Australia. I am looking forward to that long weekend!

Sorry to hear that TarHeelGirl. I've been meaning to pick that series back up because of you if I remember right. Maybe it will get better

Thanks Ang! Had a blast just hanging around home. My mom's here to spend some time with me on vacation. We'll be hitting the museums and such this week.

Mostly hung around the house and watched a couple of movies. It was just wonderful to have the day off from work!

Sorry to..."
We did mention this series before. I think the author might be from near your area? It is a really good series, just be warned the crimes are gruesome and very creepy! Even so, Claire's sarcastic demeanor adds some humor among all the creepiness. Head to Head was a Free Friday book a long time back and that's how I got started on the series. Remember Murder is a little different from all the others in that Claire is suffering from amnesia and a good portion of the book so far is devoted to her memories. It is starting to pick up, but still not quite a page turner like the previous four. I'll definitely continue with the series, though.

Haven't been doing any reading lately. I'm still sick (again). I've been doing a little work on my blog as that doesn't require much thinking.

Well, I was reading "Little Big Lies." I downloaded it from our local library, read a few chapters, and now it isn't working. Very disappointing! I uninstalled and re-installed the app, but still no luck. It is the Axis 360 app and it was recently updated and I understand there are some issues with it. Have any of you ever used it?
I've never even heard of it Tarheelgirl, hope you get it sorted.Andreea, All the light we cannot see is on my to be read list!!!
Thanks for sharing all, I'm on my very last of my pleasure reads before I head off into my reviewer persona
But it's been a fun read break I got a lot off my huge tbr pile :)
I'm reading for my in-person book club
Hard Country

I'm reading "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children." It's just the start, but the pictures are pretty odd. Interesting premise! I hope to get more reading done tonight.

Ruth I'll be interested in what you think. It was big a few years back.

I just finished Nalini Singh's Archangels Enigma. I loved it. Reading book 1 now of the edge series by Ilona Andrews, definitely urban fantasy, as it's a bit strange at times. After that i will probably finish off Lori Handelands latest triology with book 3, smoke on the water.

I don't remember all the details but I remember the impression I was left with after finishing it.
Ang from OZ wrote: "I've never even heard of it Tarheelgirl, hope you get it sorted.Andreea, All the light we cannot see is on my to be read list!!!"
Ang, I have a quarter of the book left and I definitely recommend it! The action is set before and during WWII and it turns out to be another story from that period that doesn't disappoint me. It is of course a work of fiction but it's setting could not be more real. I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you read it. I think this would be a great book for discussion.
Susan, tell your sisters my library uses the Axis 360 app. They may use something else, but I think a lot of libraries use it. It could be something I'm doing wrong, because I am new to all this, but my problems started after the update.
Wow! Both "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" and "All The Light We Cannot See" are both books I want to read!
Sinuses are still bothering me a little, but no infection anymore. I gave up on Swiss Family Robinson for the time being and started Freehold by Michael Z. Williamson. So far it's really good. Only about 20% right now.
