Story set in Ancient Roman times

Story is set in Time when they had masters and slaves.the masters kill any of their child born with deformity.the hero is a masters baby born with a limp , so he is left in forest to die where he is rescued by a slave n raised .when he grows up he leads a revolution and frees the slaves. I remember he leads the slaves to some kind of mountain top in the end and I think they settle there

I read this about 4 -5 years back.

No, I looked up this authors all books, none of them matches. The one I am looking for was just a story about the hero and how he frees the slaves, no known characters like Caesar or Genghis , no details about the internal politics among masters.i remember the the book having details about how the boy grew up, his life as a farmers son etc.Thanks for reply though.

It was definitely a novel. I read it as an paperback.it seemed like a standalone , but I could be wrong.i don't remember anything about cover art/ author

Yes, I looked up novel about Spartacus and it looks similar. But the one I am looking for has a hero born with a limp and is raised as a farm/ village boy instead of a soldier. Thank you.
