Now I'm reading Murder at the ABA, which is becoming a little bit of a chore. I think Asimov wrote this for his own amusement, which was fun for a while. The main character is not very likable and I wonder if that's intentional, 'a product of the time,' or something else. Maybe things will pick up now that the title murder has happened.

I finished listening to Sphere. I enjoyed it, though not as much as some of his other books. (My Review)
I also read The Sword of Shannara. It was a bit of a slog for me to get through, and took me most of the month (My Review).
Finally, my hold for Ms. Marvel, Vol. 4: Last Days came in. I'm really enjoying this series (My Review).

I didn't like the story-book style or the characters in the beginning but the style changed and the characters grew on me as the book progressed so I was quite enjoying it towards the end.
Given this and Radiance and a few other laser picks over the last year or two I'm beginning to wonder when science fiction went from being the literature of science geeks to being the literature of artsy hipsters.
Starting Windhaven by George R.R. Martin and Lisa Tuttle.

I think the Leckie series benefits from reading one after the other - it's on my list of things to reread like that when I am ready to revisit the world :)
