Hi. I have added this book now: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... But I have wrong authors linked on following authors: James Bennett - should be this one: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... Jan Edwards, should be this one: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... Ruth Booth is wrong, appears not to have author profile on GR. Also need help to delete BT Thomas. Grateful if anyone could help me. Best wishes.

I have fixed James Bennett and Jan Edwards. When you say 'delete' BT Thomas, do you mean that BT Thomas is no longer contributing to this planned anthology and should be removed from the record, or that there is something wrong with the BT Thomas profile? Also, I'm not sure what you mean that Ruth Booth 'is wrong'. Many authors have never claimed their profiles on Goodreads, so I'm not sure why that would make the name wrong.
Hi. Thank you! BT Thomas doesn't exist (at least not in this context). It is B Thomas who contributed, and I have added him, but wasn't able to delete BT Thomas. As for Ruth, when you click on her name, someone else show up (not this Ruth). I have searched GR, but she doesn't show. So, that's what I meant with wrong Ruth. Forgive me, I am not native speaking on English, so it migh have been the wrong choice of words. Thanks again. Best wishes, Margret Helgadottir
Ah, thanks for clarifying. I have removed 'B.T. Thomas' and added 'B. Thomas'. For Ruth Booth, I'm guessing that there are multiple authors using the same name. For now, since Ruth hasn't claimed her Goodreads author profile, all of the Ruth Booth books are appearing on one profile. If she comes to Goodreads and claims her own author profile, we'll move the books she didn't write to another Ruth Booth profile. Let me know if there's anything else you need!
We only move the wrong books to another profile if the right author claim their own profile? Why? If we know that there are two different authors we cannot move the books under wrong authorship to the correct profile?
Rafael wrote: "We only move the wrong books to another profile if the right author claim their own profile? Why? If we know that there are two different authors we cannot move the books under wrong authorship to ..."It's not a rule. It's just something I do, because unless there's a real-live human being to care, those profiles quickly become overrun by subsequent database updates, undoing all our hard work. Then later if one of the authors with that name DOES wish to claim their GR profile, it's a lot of extra work to track down all the various editions they actually own and put them in one place.
But if it's a famous name (thus attracting user/librarian attention) or if there's an author who claims the profile (and thus would care enough to check every so often that books are in their correct place), then the profiles stay disambiguated. The manual doesn't mandate we disambiguate every author profile every time we run across multiple pen names. But that's just my opinion. Do what you like. :)
