I agree with Bunnita. I think a lot of people wanted science fiction and instead it was more romance. But the sciency stuff was cool, even if it wasn't explained in great detail. I really enjoyed it, even though I'm not a huge romance person.
I'm finishing up The Great Hunt which is the second Wheel of Time book then I'll start All The Light We Cannot See.
I'm going to start reading some shorter books when I finish this one, so hopefully I can catch up a bit :)
Finished my second book and just started my third. It took me a while to find five words in this, but I managed.:) How's everyone else doing?
That's always the hard part! I need to actually look for words in Calamity...I have seen a couple, so it shouldn't be too hard. But when you have a bunch narrowing it down can be annoying.
I just finished a book but I couldn't find page number anywhere online. It was an ARC (Advance Review Copy). Do any of you know how to figure out the length based on Kindle locations #? If not, that's okay. I'll skip that book for this challenge and move on. :)
If you take the total number of "locations" listed and divide that by 10, it will give you a rough approximation.
Hey Bunnita, I dont think that I will be getting around to reading the sequel to A Thousand Pieces of You for a while. I have to get it from the library. So if you want to read it, you don't have to wait for me. But thanks for willing to!
Need to finish up All the Light We Cannot See, then get to my last book (probably) of the month! It's almost time to see what Brandon Mull has to offer me with Fablehaven. It was really cool to meet him, so I'm hoping I love it.
Okay, so I found out how to do the location to page conversion--obviously for future. Courtney was right that diving by ten usually gets the number of pages, but a more accurate way is to see how many numbers are between each page turn. That is, if one page is at location 205 and the next is at 220, you know there were 15 locations in between. Then, you divide the total number of locations by 15.
That's interesting, Jackie. I've never heard that before, but it's good to know. I wish they just had page numbers.

I went into it knowing that this is a ya novel. So I knew there was going to a romance in there somewhere. And I wasn't looking for a science book. The basic most-everyone-has-heard-of-these-theories was good enough for me.
