SOLVED. YA Book about Vampire with purple cover [s]

Okay so I remember reading this book back when I was in high school, before Twilight came out. It was a girl who was dating a vampire. I think she was in a circus, but I know she got her fortune told and ended up with a vampire. I think it was the first in series. I recall the cover being purple, I think the vampire might have worn leather. Ir's driving me crazy, I've been looking all over for this book.

It's not that one. The female character was the main one. The first book was purple, it was from the pov of a girl. I swore her name was zoey, but I may be thinking of house of night main character name. I was in HS in 2008 was my senior year. It's old.

If not Laina's suggestion, perhaps Circus of the Darned which is the second book in the series, and definitely has the purple cover
