Jen | 1545 comments I'm halfway through Zadie Smith's On Beauty which I've been reading for the 2010 tag. Today I happened to see the copyright date "2005." So turns out that I'm reading the wrong book for the tag and I can't remember which book I meant to read.

Now I need a book I can finish in three days with 2010 publication date.

Thanks! I just bought a different book but I will check out your review. I'm a fast reader so hopefully will make it. I appreciate the recommendation.

OH NO!!! So sorry, Jen. Hope you can find one that fits and pound it down. If anyone can, it's you.

First I ask Nicole where to put my 2010 review when there is a clear folder for it here and then I read the wrong book. Crazy week!

On the plus side I am liking On Beauty and it counts for shelfagories - author under 30 because although it came out the year she turned 30, it was published before her birthday :)

Jgrace | 3955 comments I wanted to read Matterhorn for the tag, but this month is too crazy. Not going to happen. I'm listening to Doerr's short story collection, Memory Wall, 243 pages, a 9 hr. audiobook. Halfway through and it's excellent.
Also I'm reading Mary Oliver's poetry book, Swan. Only 59 pages.
How's that for a sales pitch?

ooh, 59 pages. That is a good pitch! Although I don't typically read much poetry. I'm already a good chunk of the way through a replacement book so I think I'll be okay. It has been a crazy month.

It has definitely been that!
