I'm currently watching "Cavalcade" from 1933, and there is a scene in which the characters are sitting on the beach just when Bleriot crosses the Channel in 1909. :)

These BOM selections have been very popular and well received, so I hope we keep them going.
I enjoy them too. This is the first one that I've done where I actually read the book concurrent with the group and I really like it that way. The others I followed I had read the book about a year before and it's more fun when you are reading along. Teri, you do a really great job with these. I have had a good time!
I love the BOM selections and all of the books the History Book club selections. Looking forward to the next books to come. i have alot of fun reading them.Thanks Teri for leading us with them and to Bentley.
