Had a rather late night last night. Took Mr G to see Andy Zaltzman for his birthday. An excellent nights entertainment, didn't get home until after 12.00. At work by 7:30am, have to give a presentation on goods & services tax plus demonstrate a new application we are implementing to a slightly hostile crowd this morning. aarrgh! When Mr G suggested I chuck a sicky this morning. I thought about it very seriously. Alas...

Well, yeah. Got a candidate training tomorrow in Cedar Falls. Two and a half hour drive. Nice town to visit.
Going to see Madam Butterfly with my daughter & MIL this evening.
Watching a couple more Foyle's War episodes.
Uploading and deleting photos and drinking wine.
Late Mornining.Fresh ground Columbian coffee.

Not working today. Cleaning my room, doing laundry, and studying. Officially babysitting my "niece" on thursdays now. Today is a good day.

Wet Dog, warm towel. 37F/3C temp. Not a sunny morning. But there's chili cooking!
Bentley, the dog, will not let me forget taking him out in the rain until several dog treats have been doled out.
Bentley looks pretty settled under that warm towel.
Bentley's going to clean up with that look!
Bentley probably doesn't get any of the chili.
No chili for Bentley.:( But he does pretty well. A world class mooch.He does like his 'linens'. His favorite, clean bedsheets.

Yes Barb, I am exploring a run for a 4-year term on city council. Probably more manageable, fewer issues to learn about and fewer run-ins with the local Dem party folks. It's a non-partisan race.

CD, I got it sometime last night. homepage is now friends' updates, and you have to click a side menu to find the things that used to be on the homepage. it's very Facebook like and I'm not keen on it.
