How are you today? The daily check-in thread

So you are stepping up to the plate. Well swing away and remember,
"It's a simple game,
You throw the ball,
You hit the ball,
You catch the ball"
:) Riiiiiight.
Have fun!!
Back at work today. Why is it that 5 minutes back and I feel I need another holiday?
Yes loads. I wonder how you guessed. :)
Hard to remember the days that existed before emails. My in tray didn't seem to pile up so much while I was away.
Okay so I am just showing my age.

I thought this group was dead (like a few others) so I haven't checked in in a long while. Good to see it's still up and breathing!

I'll be thinking of you.

It went very well. About 50 relatives attended the graveside ceremony and the luncheon afterward. Weather was threatening at the cemetery but it held off and let us celebrate both of my parents' lives very nicely. I got to see many cousins I hadn't seen in years and probably won't see again for many more. One of my favorite aunts and her son performed "Danny Boy" so beautifully there among the oak trees. Big sigh. Another chapter complete.
I took the day off. It's Iggy Pop's birthday and I never work on Iggy's birthday. 68 years young.
My girls sang Danny Boy for my Irish mom-in-law. I am observing city council and tearing up at the memory.

A fitting farewell Felix. I'm very glad the weather was suitable kind.
Has been a great weekend. We're eating unhealthy with pizza and ice cream today. Watching 'The Haunting Hour' on netflix with my son. He also has the video games going. Hope to read some later.
Friday! Last of classes - which means Bridge Street Run. That is a day of drinking throughout the town. There are alternative activities on campus, which I'm going to check out on my lunch in a minute. And it's 80! Woot!!
