SOLVED. Book about girl in a forest with thieves? [s]

I'm looking for a book that I read when I was in elementary school, probably sometime around 2002-2005. It would probably have been published 10 or more years previous. The cover had a girl on the front wearing a raggedy dress, in a forest I think. The book is about her (I think her name started with an R) and she lives with her father and a group of thieves in the forest. At some point there's a boy she meets I think, and he (maybe) gets captured by the thieves.
