Dominique VonFleek | 7 comments Hi,

This book is about two sisters. The heroine was stuck in her younger (I think) sister's shadow her whole life. The heroine grows up and moves to the city, away from her sister and parents. She meets the hero, who she knew from high school, that the sister either dated or liked. The sister finds out that the heroine met back up with the guy and starts pursuing him with the parent's approval. The hero has not interest in the sister and wants the heroine. The hero and the heroine start dating, but the sister and the parents are oblivious to the fact that the hero has no interest in the sister and wants the heroine. With the sister always getting what she wants, the heroine does not tell the sister/parents that she and hero are together. The sister finds out because she unexpectedly arrives at the heroine's apt. and finds the heroine and hero together. That is the gist of the book, but I cannot remember the name for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it was a younger sister? Usually you are stuck in an older siblings shadow. Unless, of course, it's a younger twin.

When did you read this--last month, last year, last decade?
What format did you read it in--dead tree, e, audio etc.
What did the heroine do for a job? What did the hero do?

Dominique VonFleek | 7 comments It could have been an older sister. I read this within the last five years. I'm pretty sure it was an actual book. The heroine was some type of executive, maybe a banker. I think the hero was an architect.

Dominique, the bump period in this active group is 30 days - unless you have new details to add.

A guess - Now and Then by Brenda Rothert?

Dominique, what kind of contemporary romance is this - romantic, angsty, erotic, funny at times, etc.?

Anything distinctive about the main characters - personality (very shy), appearance, etc.?

Location - U.S./country, well-known big city, coast/mountains/region, etc.?
